As the new girl in Seattle after moving just weeks ago from Minnesota, I have been in search of how to live a green lifestyle in the Emerald City. I’ve tried to lead an eco-friendly life throughout the past year, but I am finding it much easier now that I live in such a green city! Did you know Seattle was named America’s #1 greenest city in March by the NRDC? Not only is Seattle a city full of techies, but it is also full of “greenies.”
Seattle celebrated its passion for being a leader in sustainability and environmental awareness at last month’s Green Festival. With tons of local speakers, exhibitors and vendors, it was the place to be to learn about the best of all things green in Seattle.
