Recently, my business partner Kassie Edwards and I were fortunate enough to host nightlife mogul Cy Waits in Seattle. We provided all his travel arrangements, hospitality and Public Relations while he was in town.
I wrote an article on him for the March 2012 DLIST Magazine and got to know him on a very personal level. It was a great experience and I wanted to make sure to share it with my GPH gals! Cy was an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s extremely intelligent, very polite and devilishly handsome. It’s definitely no surprise to me that he rose from the bottom up, to meteoric success in his industry.

The Stars are Wearing Blue Nile
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed latelly, but the stars in Hollywood are all glittering in Blue Nile. The Bachelor Season 16
This season of the Bachelor has undoubtedly been an interesting one. Whether you watch T.V. or not, you have most likely seen the tabloid headlines and social media buzz surrounding the show. This Monday, March 12th will be the show’s finale and Ben Flajnik will likely profess his love, and even propose to one of the final two contestants. Naturally leaving the other gal, heartbroken.

Will he choose Courtney Robertson, the 28 year old, professional model from Scottsdale, AZ? Or will he chose Lindzi Cox, the 27 year old Business Development Manager originally from Ocala, FL that currently resides the greater Seattle area? Seattle area fans can join Molly Mesnick from the Bachelor Season 13 for a private screening of the season finale this Monday, at Suite Lounge inside the Hyatt Bellevue. The event is hosted by Amy Yamada and Devani Freeman. Spaces are limited so to reserve your ticket.

If you ask me, I think the final rose is going to Courtney Robertson, the controversial model who famously took Ben skinny dipping early on in the shows filming. If I could choose Ben’s partner for him, I would undoubtedly pick Lindzi. Unfortunately, I’m pretty certain Courtney is the shows “winner” but not everyone agrees with me. Take a look at predictions of how the show will end from The Bachelors very own Molly Mesnick, GPH Founder Darnell Sue, Neiman Marcus Publicist Rachel Roberts, my business partner at C.E.M. Maile and Kassie Go To Hollywood: Two Small Town Seattle Girls in the Heart of a Hollywood Grammy After Party

A few weeks ago, my business partner Kassie and I were lucky enough to attend a Grammy after party at the historic House of Blues, in West Hollywood. The party was a charity concert by Three Six Zero and Roc Nation. Featured artists included Calvin Harris, Rihanna and DeadMous5. Tickets to the event started at $1,000 and even went as high as $50,000 and up! Proceeds from the benefit went to the Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer artists’ program at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the Children’s Orthopedic Center. Kassie and I could not have been more honored to attend such an amazing event. And honestly, this was almost like a once in a lifetime opportunity for us.
Our trip began with the busiest day of our lives. Sunday morning 7 AM flight, interview preparation for an article we were writing on the Grammy’s, dress pick-ups, and the inevitable stops at about 15 different places in Hollywood. All while carrying our vintage Chanel Bags and jewelry that Bag Borrow or Steal graciously let us borrow. And let me assure you, we did not carry these items lightly. We guarded them and carried them with the respect they deserve, being cautious not to get even a single a scratch on them. A little shout out and thank you to the Glam Squad over at BBOS for styling us in some hot accessories.
For Moms, Teens and Disney fans, this celebrity appearance is just up your alley. Disney Star Zendaya Coleman is coming to Washington for a much anticipated appearance in Puyallup this weekend. Now’s the time to meet her, she might just be the next Miley Cyrus. Disney has a history of pumping out mega music stars like Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Christina Aguilera. Why not take this rare opportunity to meet a budding star?
Back in August, fans of the Disney Channel original series Shake It Up! flocked to South Hill Mall in Puyallup, Washington, to meet one of the show’s stars. Now they’ll have a chance to meet her co-star. On Saturday, November 12, Zendaya Coleman will be in the Macy’s Court to say hello, sign autographs and take pictures from noon until 3pm. This event is FREE. (One autograph per fan, please).

June 22, 2011- Washington state has a new star blooming. Tacoma native, Vicci Martinez, is a break out star on the NBC show The Voice. This bluesey, soul, and folk singer, has an extremely powerful voice, that has the power to mesmerize you. Only 26, Vicci writes, sings and plays guitar with the touch of a veteran performer. As her 12,700 + Facebook fans already know, Martinez has already opened for or shared the stage with notables such as Sting, Annie Lennox, B.B. King, the Doobie Brothers, and Jonny Lang. The former Kate Middleton, now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Wife to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge is perhaps the most watched female on planet earth since 3 am this morning. I couldn’t let the day go by without writing at least a short piece about this stunning woman for Seattle Celeb Buzz. Unfortunately my press pass request to cover the Royal Wedding, in person, in London was denied (just kidding) so I’m left covering it from the thousands of photos that have descended on the internet in the past 12 + hours. I’ve found Kate’s first wedding dress she arrived at the abbey in, her sister Pippa Middleton’s white (gasp!) matron dress, and Kate’s second wedding dress for the reception most notable from the days affairs. Of course, leave it to me to only notice the fairy tale gowns and over look the rest of the event.
