Because we couldn’t start fall without a new pair of shoes, Girl Power Hour and Report Footwear hosted a super chic VIP launch party this past Sunday at Report’s first ever retail location. The last night of Bellevue Fashion week was the perfect opportunity for GPH and Report to join forces and allow over 150 women to peruse and shop the fabulous selection of shoes, network and down right party.
Gene Juarez Salon & Spas dolled up the Power Team’s hair and donated a fab door prize while Girly Girl Wines and Barefoot Bubbly (who we love!) provided tasty sips that complimented hors d’oeuvres from Pearl Bar & Dining and Trophy cupcakes. I don’t know about you, but I think I may have overdosed on mini crab bites; and let’s be honest – who can resist the temptation of a delectable tower of Trophy cupcakes?
The setting was classic—sleek black tables, floating Gerbera Daisies and the perennial photog backdrop transformed the storefront into a groovin’ lounge. Everyone seemed unusually uplifted (for a Sunday night), walking out with sky-high heels, swag bags stuffed with goodies or both! The DJ was on his game, spinning upbeat mixes that made us want to whip our credit cards and make those over-the-knee boots ours…or, maybe that was just me? 20% off the entire selection was offered and a 5% contribution to our charity, City of Hope, made shopping a guilt free activity.
At the end of the night one thing was clear: Report Footwear and Girl Power Hour love shoes and can throw one heck of a great and savvy soiree; even on a Sunday. See you all at the 3 year event in September and don’t forget, Men are invited!
